Itaparica - the other side!

If you can't stand the view of the beach to the opposite island anymore, you are cordially invited to take a look at it from the other side.

Take a quick (about 40 minutes) boat ride across the bay to the other side and see the skyline of Salvador. Everything is a little quieter, slower. Beautiful beaches and villages are waiting to be discovered.

Of course, you can easily do this in one day. But if you want to see the dreamy sunrise over Salvador, it's best to stay at least one night on the island. Simply a dream, to "escape" from the city for one or two days and enjoy the (slower ;) island life.
